Terms and Conditions for DPF Cleaning Services at North Down DPF Centre

Introduction
These terms and conditions govern the basis on which North Down DPF Centre, owned and operated by Prestige Performance Group Ltd, provides its DPF cleaning services ("Services"). Please read these terms carefully before placing an order. By ordering the DPF cleaning service, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please retain a copy for your records. -
Terms and Conditions
2.1 These terms and conditions apply exclusively to the DPF cleaning services provided by North Down DPF Centre.
2.2 An Order for DPF cleaning represents an offer by the Customer to purchase the Service in accordance with these Conditions.
2.3 The Order is only deemed accepted when North Down DPF Centre issues written acceptance (usually via email), at which point the Contract shall commence.
2.4 The Contract constitutes the entire agreement between the parties, and the Customer acknowledges that they have not relied on any representations that are not included in the Contract.
2.5 Any descriptions or illustrations of the DPF cleaning service provided by North Down DPF Centre are for approximate guidance only and do not form part of the Contract. -
Supply of Services
3.1 North Down DPF Centre shall provide the DPF cleaning service as per the accepted Order.
3.2 We reserve the right to make necessary changes to the Service to comply with applicable laws or safety requirements.
3.3 We warrant that the DPF cleaning service will be provided with reasonable care and skill. -
Order Process
4.1 Upon Order acceptance, the Customer must arrange for the vehicle to be brought to North Down DPF Centre for the DPF cleaning service.
4.2 The cleaning process uses a specialized mixture of chemicals, which are considered harmful. Therefore, customers must not be in attendance during the cleaning process and should return at the specified time provided by North Down DPF Centre.
4.3 In cases where the DPF cleaning is insufficient to resolve the issue, North Down DPF Centre will offer additional cleaning services to address stubborn blockages that may require further attention.
4.4 Failure to return on time (a grace period of 30 minutes will be allowed) may result in the vehicle being parked on the Main Street, and North Down DPF Centre will not be responsible for any fees associated with parking, clamping, or other related charges. -
Non-Refundable Deposit and Cancellation Policy
5.1 A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking for the DPF cleaning service.
5.2 If the Customer wishes to cancel the service, they must do so within 14 working days. In such cases, the cancellation will be considered equal to the amount of the non-refundable deposit. -
No Guarantee
6.1 Please note that no guarantee applies to the following services provided by North Down DPF Centre:

On-Car DPF Cleaning
-
Maintenance Clean
-
Engine Carbon Clean
6.2 In some cases, the DPF may require additional services to clear stubborn blockages that cannot be resolved through the standard cleaning process. The Customer will be advised of any necessary steps and additional costs that may be necessary.

Customer's Obligations
7.1 The Customer must ensure the accuracy of the Order and cooperate with North Down DPF Centre in all matters related to the DPF cleaning service.
7.2 The Customer is responsible for disclosing any prior cleaning processes that the DPF has undergone, as this may affect the effectiveness of the DPF cleaning service.
7.3 If the Company's performance is delayed due to Customer actions, we reserve the right to suspend Services and will not be liable for any resulting costs. -
Charges and Payment
8.1 Prices for the DPF cleaning service will be as set out in the Order. If no price is quoted, our published price list applies.
8.2 All amounts are exclusive of VAT, and the Customer is responsible for paying any applicable VAT on the invoice.
8.3 Invoices will be issued upon completion of the service, and payment is due upon receipt.
8.4 Late payments will incur interest as per the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act. -
Limitation of Liability
9.1 North Down DPF Centre's liability to Consumers is not limited for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or breaches of statutory rights.
9.2 Subject to clause 9.1, the Company is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, and its total liability does not exceed the amount paid for the DPF cleaning service in any one Order.
9.3 All terms implied by the Sale of Goods Act 1979 are excluded for Business Customers. -
Force Majeure
10.1 The Company is not liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond its control (e.g., strikes, natural disasters).
10.2 If a Force Majeure event prevents service for over 13 weeks, the Company may terminate the Contract with written notice. -
General Provisions
11.1 The Company may assign rights or subcontract obligations; the Customer may not assign rights without prior consent.
11.2 Any notice under this Contract must be in writing and delivered to the registered office or principal place of business.
11.3 If any provision is deemed invalid, the remainder of the Contract remains enforceable.
11.4 A waiver of any right must be in writing and does not affect future rights.
11.5 Nothing in the Contract establishes a partnership or agency between the parties.
11.6 The Contract is not enforceable by any third party.
11.7 No variations are valid unless agreed in writing.
11.8 This agreement is governed by the laws of Northern Ireland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Northern Ireland.
